Crockpot Little Smokies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 14- ounce package little smokies
  • 1 18- ounce jar grape jelly
  • 1 12- ounce bottle chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray. Or use a crockpot liner for easy cleanup.
  2. Add the smokies to the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the grape jelly and chili sauce until they form a smooth mixture. Pour it over the sausages.
  4. Stir the smokies and sauce to ensure they are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours or 2-3 hours on high.
  6. Stir the smokies and sauce again before serving.

Notes

  • There are many flavor variations of little smokies, including beef, pork, or turkey. Any work well in this recipe.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup of brown sugar to make the sauce even sweeter.
  • To add a bit of heat, stir in a few teaspoons of hot sauce. This will give the sauce a sweet and spicy taste.
  • Use toothpicks to make serving the cocktail sausages easy.
