Ingredients

  • ½ cucumber.
  • A handful of green curly kale.
  • 1 teaspoon clear honey.
  • 1 cup coconut water.
  • A squeeze of lemon juice optional, see the note.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger juice from 1-inch of root ginger optional, see the note

Instructions

  1. Wash and rinse the cucumber. Cut it into small pieces and place them in a blender.
  2. Wash and rinse the Kale leaves and add them into the cucumber.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients into the blender.
  4. Blend and process the cucumber mix until you get a well-mixed smoothie.

Notes

  • Adding lemon juice can give a more refreshing taste to your smoothie as well as an extra addition to the alkaline content.
  • A little juice of root ginger gives a delicate spiciness that makes your smoothie more delicious.
