Ingredients

  • 2 cucumber thinly sliced, medium
  • 1 red onion thinly sliced, small
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon dill chopped, fresh

Instructions

  1. Combine the thinly sliced cucumbers and red onions in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and black pepper until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cucumber and onion slices, tossing to ensure they are well coated. Sprinkle with chopped dill and gently mix.
  4. Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
