Cucumber Salad Recipe

This easy cucumber salad recipe has cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in a sweet and tangy vinegar based marinade.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water warm
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper ground
  • 2 cucumber peeled and thinly sliced, English
  • 3 small tomato chopped
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the cucumber, tomatoes, and onion to the bowl. Stir until the vegetables are well coated in the marinade.
  3. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  4. Strain the liquid. Or, serve with a slotted spoon.
