Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
- 1 small white onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 jar cheese Whiz
- 10 small corn tortillas
- vegetable oil for frying
- Taco toppings (lettuce, salsa, sour cream, etc.)
Instructions
- Pour about a half to one cup of oil in a small skillet or deep fryer. Heat the oil over medium-low heat.
- Place the ground beef and onion in a large skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Cook and crumble beef over medium-high heat. Once beef is no longer pink, drain grease.
- Meanwhile, fry the tortillas in the oil, about 30 seconds on each side. Lay the fried tortillas onto a plate with paper towels to soak up the grease.
- Spread some Cheese Whiz (however much you like) onto each tortilla then top with the ground beef and all your favorite taco toppings. Enjoy!
