Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk 2%
- 2 egg large
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour unbleached
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup butter the best quality possible, unsalted
- pure maple syrup to taste, for serving
- Fresh fruit to taste, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450F.
- Whisk together milk, eggs flour and salt to make a batter. Don't over mix.
- Place butter in a 10-inch frying pan and place in the oven. When the butter is melted and bubbly, carefully pour the batter into the pan. Bake for about 12 minutes or until the sides are puffy and brown and the centre is set.
- Remove from oven, cut into 4 portions and serve with maple syrup and plenty of fresh fruit.
