Dark Chocolate Chunk Walnut Cookies
Dark Chocolate Chunk Walnut Cookies are soft and thick and have chunks of dark chocolate, and chopped walnuts.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon water hot
- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, chocolate chunks, and walnuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
- Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are slightly browned.
