Ingredients

  • 1.5 quarts water tap or bottled water
  • 1 orange sliced
  • ½ lemon sliced
  • 6 strawberries sliced
  • ½ English cucumber sliced length wise
  • mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Rinse the fruits and vegetables.
  2. Slice lemon and oranges thin. Dice strawberries. Slice cucumber lengthwise, into thin strips. Tear mint leaves for it to infuse faster and for stronger flavor.
  3. Add everything to a pitcher.
  4. Fill a pitcher with any water of your choice (tap water, or sparkling water)Tip: A good thumb rule is to infuse for 2 hours at room temperature or for 3-4 hours in the fridge to achieve the potent flavor of the water. If you want stronger fruity and tangy flavors, infusing it overnight in the fridge is best.
  5. Serve chilled with additional fruit slices and ice.
  6. It’s best to drink and finish this detox water the day you make within 12 hours at room temperature.
  7. Keep the pitcher in the fridge if you want to stretch for more than 12 hours. Make sure to consume within 24 hours. NOTE: Do not keep it longer than that, fruits will begin to go bad.
