Domino's Cheddar Bacon Loaded Tots
You can make bacon and cheddar loaded tater tots like Domino's with this easy copycat recipe.
Ingredients
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic dried, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion dried minced
- 2 tablespoons water hot
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar distilled
- 2 teaspoons italian herbs
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
Tater Tots
- 1/2 pound tater tots frozen
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded, low-moisture
- 1/4 cup Bacon crumbled cooked
Instructions
- In a small bowl, cover the dried minced garlic and onion with hot water. Let stand for 5 minutes to rehydrate.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, vinegar, Italian herbs, lemon juice, corn syrup, and salt. Add the rehydrated garlic and onion and whisk until well combined. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F or the air fryer to 400°F. (If you plan to use an air fryer, you will still need to finish the dish in a 425°F oven.)
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket. Cook in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or in the air fryer for 12 to 15 minutes (shaking the basket halfway through) until golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer the tots to an oven-safe serving dish, sprinkle with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and place the oven for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, top with crumbled cooked bacon, and drizzle with garlic parmesan sauce. Serve immediately while hot.
