Doritos Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

These Doritos Air Fryer Chicken Tenders are one of my kids’ favorite dinners! If your family loves crispy homemade chicken tenders as much as we do, this is one version you need to try.

Ingredients

  • 8-12 boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 large bag of Doritos
  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp. Cajun spice
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • Olive oil cooking spray as needed

Instructions

  1. Using a sealed Ziploc bag add your Doritos, crush the Doritos so that they are a texture similar to Panko crumbs.
  2. Pour the Dorito crumbs and Panko into a medium sized bowl and set to the side
  3. Place flour, cajun spiced, and cayenne pepper in one bowl and eggs in another.
  4. Whisk the eggs.
  5. Preheat your Air fryer (if needed) to the chicken pre-set temperature or 380.
  6. Take a chicken tender and put it in the flour and dredge them.
  7. Shake off any excess flour.
  8. Place it in the egg wash and turn them so they are evenly coated in egg.
  9. Now dredge it in the crushed Doritos Panko mix.
  10. Place on a baking sheet.
  11. Do this with the remaining chicken strips.
  12. Place the tenders in your Air Fryer and cook for 12-14 minutes.
