Double Chocolate Cookie Bars
Double Chocolate Cookie Bars use cocoa powder and semi-sweet chocolate chips blended into a butter and sugar base for a deeply chocolatey baked treat. The dough is spread in a thin layer on a lined baking sheet and baked until the edges set, producing bars with a tender crumb and rich flavor. After cooling, the cookie bars can be sliced and served, optionally with ice cream or chocolate sauce for extra indulgence.

- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips mini
