Dr. Dedhia’s Favorite Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups spinach (consider rotating greens-kale, Swiss chard, lamb's quarters, and dandelion greens with stems removed)
  • 1 pear can substitute an apple or orange
  • 1 cup banana ripe (can substitute 1 of blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 carrots whole
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 cups water adjust to desired consistency

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Using a high-speed blender (Vitamix works well), blend all the ingredients. Best if served immediately.
