Dr. Seuss Party Snack For Kids

These easy Dr. Seuss party snacks make an adorable healthy Cat In the Hat! This snack is perfect for birthday parties with a dun Seuss twist. This Suess birthday treat recipe also makes a delicious classroom snack for toddlers, preschoolers. or to celebrate Read Across America for Dr. Seuss' birthday.

Ingredients

  • 10 large strawberries
  • 2 large bananas
  • orange or lemon juice optional
  • Candy eyes optional
  • Sprinkles optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash strawberries. Slice strawberries and bananas into rounds.
  2. Brush bananas gently with orange or lemon juice to reduce browning.
  3. Alternate strawberries and bananas, making a multicolor stack to form Cat In The Hat hats.
  4. Add strawberry and banana stacks to the ends of the straws or other skewers.

Notes

  • This Dr. Seuss snack easily scales down if you are making it for only a few children, or scales up if you are making kabobs for a party!
  • *Optional- add an extra slice of banana threaded the opposite direction as the head. Decorate face with sprinkles and candy eyes.
