Dragon Fruit Smoothie
A Dragon Fruit Smoothie is a kid approved, bright pink colored, quick breakfast on the go. Made with only 4 ingredients, it can be made in a few mins.
Ingredients
- 5 banana medium, frozen
- 1/2 cup dragon fruit pink, 64g
- 2 cups almond milk 480ml, or other plant based milk
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
Instructions
- Add all ingredients in a high speed blender. Process until smooth.
- Serve in 2 mason jars.
Notes
- If using fresh dragon fruit, make sure to get a ripe fruit as one that’s not ripe has almost no flavor.
- Fresh Dragon fruit keeps on the counter only a few days.
- When buying, keep in mind that Organic Dragon fruits and ones imported from Thailand have the sweetest flavor.
- If you want a thicker Pitaya Smoothie, blend it slowly, scrape the sides of the blender often and add in liquid in small increments until you get it the perfect consistency.
- Use the tamper to help to blend.
- There are 3 Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving of these.
