Drunken Pimento Cheese
With the addition of some smoked paprika and a splash of beer, this Drunken Pimento Cheese is a delicious twist on the classic cheese spread that is great served with crackers, veggies, or as a sandwich spread. You will want to eat it with everything!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup beer
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp hot sauce
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese shredded, sharp
- ¼ cup Pimentos drained, jarred, diced
Instructions
- Bring beer to boil in small saucepan over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 1 minute. Transfer to small bowl and let cool completely.
- In your food processor, process the mayonnaise, cream cheese, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and hot sauce until well combined. Add the shredded cheese and beer and pulse to combine. Add the pimentos and pulse a few more times until mixed in.
- Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
