Dry Ranch Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine garlic powder, onion powder, salt, dried parsley, dried dill, dried chives, and black pepper in a jar.
  2. Store the mixture in an airtight container.
  3. Use this ranch seasoning for up to 3 months to season dishes, or to create dressings and dips.

Notes

  • Ranch Dip: Combine 3 tablespoons of the ranch seasoning with 1 cup of sour cream or Greek yogurt. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. 
  • Ranch Dressing: Whisk together 3 tablespoons of ranch seasoning with 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup buttermilk or milk, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar. Adjust the consistency by adding more buttermilk or milk if desired. Chill for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
