Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk any percentage
  • 1 tablespoon dulce de leche
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar or to taste, optional, 4g
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream optional
  • 1/2 cup coffee strong
  • Whipped Cream optional for topping

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a small pot, combine milk, dulce de leche, sugar, and optional heavy cream. Heat over medium heat, whisking frequently, until milk is just beginning to steam. Whisk until well-combined and milk is frothy.
  2. Pour coffee into an 8-ounce mug, and stir in milk mixture. Top with optional whipped cream, and drizzle with more dulce de leche if desired.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • *If you sometimes find coffeehouse drinks too sweet, omit the sugar to start and add sugar to taste after mixing everything together if the drink is not sweet enough.
  • This recipe makes a little over 1 cup of coffee, enough to fill one 8-ounce mug. If you want to fill an over-sized mug, double the recipe.
