Easter Cookies

Easy and delicious Easter cookies are packed with M&Ms and chocolate and perfect for all your holiday festivities!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • M&M's chopped and whole, separated
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream white sugar, brown sugar, butter, and oil.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, to the butter mixture and mix until fluffy.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift baking powder, salt, baking soda, and flour. Add to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Add vanilla and mix.
  5. Add as many chopped M&Ms as you prefer and ½ cup white chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop the dough and roll it into balls. Add 5 whole M&M's to the top center of each dough ball. Add a few white chocolate chips on top as well.
  7. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet.

Notes

  • Store cookie dough. Mix up the cookie dough, cover with plastic, and refrigerate for 1-2 days. You can also freeze cookie dough balls for 3 months. See How to Freeze Cookie Dough for tips.  
  • Store baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature, along with a piece of white bread to help keep them soft, for 4-5 days. Freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
