Easter Egg Oreo Balls

Easter Oreo Balls are a soft and delectable way to enjoy Oreos this Easter. The molded Oreos are shaped into an egg and dipped into smooth white almond chocolate bark.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese package, softened
  • 19.1 ounce Oreo cookies package
  • White Almond Bark
  • Candy Melts Colored
  • Easter Sprinkles

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a food processor finely crush the Oreo cookies.
  2. Place the cookie crumbs and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl and blend together with a hand mixer until combined.
  3. Using a 1 ½ tablespoon scoop form the cookie mixture into balls and then gently shape into an egg shape.
  4. Place on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan and pop in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, melt your chocolates.
  6. Melt the almond bark or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until melted and smooth.
  7. Using 2 forks dip each egg in the chocolate and gently shake off any excess.
  8. Place the egg on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle with sprinkles.
  9. Repeat with all the eggs.
  10. Serve!
  11. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Notes

  • You can use any flavor Oreo you like.
  • I prefer to use a food processor to make sure the cookies get crushed finely but you can also use a Ziploc bag and rolling pin, you just want to make sure to really crush them.
  • You can use white almond bark or chocolate almond bark for covering.
  • You can also use colored candy melts in whatever colors you like.
  • I like to drizzle the different colors over the eggs.
