Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. pork shoulder cubed
- 2 potato peeled and cubed, medium
- 1/2 bell pepper chopped, small red
- 1/2 bell pepper chopped, small green
- 1/2 cup green peas frozen
- 4 cups pork broth or beef broth
- 1 tomato sauce 8 oz. can
- 1 tomato cubed, small
- 1 onion chopped, small
- 3 cloves garlic crushed
- 3 tablespoons neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
- salt to taste
- black pepper
Instructions
- Heat oil in a casserole or deep cooking pot.
- Saute garlic,onion, and tomato until soft.
- Add-in the pork. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until light brown.
- Pour-in broth and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 40 to 60 minutes.
- Stir-in the potatoes. Cook for 8 minutes.
- Add the bell peppers and green peas. Stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with warm rice.
