Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken wings free-range
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Oil and Toss: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with the olive oil.
  3. Mix the Breading: Whisk together the almond flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, cayenne, and black pepper in a separate bowl. Trust me you will love this seasoned crust.
  4. Bread the Wings: Coat each wing in the almond flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Lay them out on a plate as you go.
  5. Air Fry to Perfection: Arrange the wings in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for air circulation. Cook for 14-16 minutes, flipping halfway through. They're done when they're crispy (if you have a fancy meat thermometer, target an internal temperature of 165°F).
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve straight from the air fryer with a side of celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce, like a homemade avocado ranch or a tangy yogurt-based dip.
