Ingredients
- 4 apples
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans finely chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Using a sharp, narrow knife, remove the step and seeds from the apples.
- In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts or pecans.
- Fill each apple with the brown sugar mixture. Top it off with 1/2 tbsp of butter.
- Place the apples on a baking sheet. Pour the water into the bottom of the pan. Bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes or until the apples are tender. Enjoy!
