Easy Banana Waffles Recipe

These buttermilk waffles are naturally sweetened with ripe bananas. They're soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside — a perfect breakfast treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large bananas mashed
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas and add in all the wet ingredients. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Gently stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Preheat a waffle maker. Spoon the batter onto the hot iron and cook until the waffles are lightly golden and crispy. Enjoy!
