Easy Beer Bread

An easy recipe for beer bread you can make with a few simple ingredients. No yeast needed!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 12 ounces beer do not use light beer
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with baker's cooking spray.
  2. Combine the flour and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add beer and stir to combine. You may need to use your hands to get it mixed thoroughly. The dough will be sticky.
  4. Place the dough into the prepared loaf pan, brush the top with melted butter.
  5. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the bread from the pan, place it on a wire rack, and let it cool to room temperature before slicing it.

Notes

  • This bread tastes a lot like the Tastefully Simple brand according to my own personal opinion. The bread mix costs a lot more when it is sold at a home party.
