Easy Blueberry Caprese (Red, White, and Blue Salad)

Ingredients
- 3 vine ripe tomatoes sliced into thin rounds
- 1 (8 oz) fresh mozzarella log pre-sliced for extra ease
- 1 pint blueberries
- ¼ cup basil leaves shredded into thin strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Slice the tomatoes and into thin rounds and shred the basil leaves into thin strips.
- On a serving tray layer the tomato slices and mozzarella slices so that they are slightly overlapping in rows. Top with the blueberries.
- Drizzle over olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the finely chopped basil all over.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze on top of the salad, or serve on the side and provide toothpicks for dipping.
