Easy Calzone Recipe

Make this easy calzone recipe in minutes with a little pizza dough, pizza toppings, and an oven. Whether you're making a pepperoni calzone pizza or a buffalo chicken calzone, these will be a winner!

Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • toppings of your choice
  • 1 jar Pizza Sauce
  • olive oil or avocado oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Use a circle biscuit cutter to cut out 12 circles of dough.
  4. Spray muffin tin with olive oil or avocado oil spray.
  5. Place one circle of dough into each of the muffin tins and press down and into the sides.
  6. Add toppings to each of the dough circles.
  7. Cover toppings with mozzarella cheese.
  8. Fold the dough together over the toppings and pinch to seal.
  9. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-13 minutes or until golden brown and the dough is cooked.
