- 1 package wonton wrappers found in the produce department of most grocery stores
- 1 pound ground chicken
- sesame oil or coconut oil
- 1.5 cups broccoli slaw pre-packaged
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger freshly grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- black pepper to taste
- soy sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Cook chicken in a large skillet over medium high heat until completely done. Drain off any fat.
- Return chicken to pan and add broccoli slaw to pan. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are softened.
- Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes
- Stir in crushed red pepper if using
- Lay out wonton wrappers on a flat surface, a few at a time. Moisten the edges of the wonton wrappers with water using your fingers or a pastry brush.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the ground chicken mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Fold won ton wrapper so that it forms a triangle. Gently press the edges to keep the pot stickers from coming apart while cooking.
- Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potstickers in a single layer and cook about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden.
- Serve with soy sauce for dipping if desired.
