Ingredients
- 1 ready made unbaked pie shell or pie crust
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs lightly beaten
- 2 TBSP all purpose flour
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3 TBSP butter melted and cooled
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup and 1/2 pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet OR dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Prepare pie crust or unwrap unbaked pie shell and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine brown sugar and eggs. Stir in the flour. Stir in the corn syrup, and once that is combined, stir in the butter and vanilla extract. Gently fold in the pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour mixture into your pie shell. Place pie in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow pie to cool completely prior to serving.
