Ingredients
- 8-10 ounces cabbage pre-shredded coleslaw mix
- 8-10 ounces carrot
- 8-10 ounces onion
- ½ red onion thinly sliced
- ½ green bell pepper thinly sliced (optional)
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
- hot sauce dash of
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place prepared slaw mix, onion, and bell pepper in a large bowl; season with a heavy pinch of salt and pepper. Mix to combine.
- Add the mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined. Taste for seasoning and add additional salt and pepper as desired.
- Chill until ready to serve.
