Easy Coleslaw

This easy coleslaw recipe will quickly become your new slaw go-to! Serve this simple coleslaw with everything from pulled pork to fish tacos to buffalo chicken sliders and more. You’ll be sure to turn to it time and again this summer!

Ingredients

  • 8-10 ounces cabbage pre-shredded coleslaw mix
  • 8-10 ounces carrot
  • 8-10 ounces onion
  • ½ red onion thinly sliced
  • ½ green bell pepper thinly sliced (optional)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • hot sauce dash of
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place prepared slaw mix, onion, and bell pepper in a large bowl; season with a heavy pinch of salt and pepper. Mix to combine.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined. Taste for seasoning and add additional salt and pepper as desired.
  3. Chill until ready to serve.
