Easy Cooler Corn Recipe

If you’re not familiar with cooler corn, this post covers everything you need to know. It’s a convenient way to cook corn on the cob in a cooler!

Ingredients

  • Clean cooler avoid styrofoam
  • 8 fresh ears of corn
  • boiling water (about 2 quarts)

Instructions

  1. Shuck the corn and rinse thoroughly.
  2. Place the shucked corn inside the clean cooler ensuring there’s enough space to close the lid tightly.
  3. Heat the water until it reaches a full boil.
  4. Pour the water into the cooler to fully cover all of the corn. Close the lid tightly and let the corn stand for 30 minutes. Do not open the lid during this time.
  5. After 30 minutes, drain the water from the cooler.
  6. Serve the corn and enjoy. With the lid on, the corn should stay hot for about two hours.
