Easy Cranberry, Apple & Pomegranate Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh cranberries
  • 1 large Gala apple peeled & cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ½ cup water
  • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup pomegranate arils

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a medium saucepan, stir together the cranberries, apple, water and maple syrup.
  2. Set the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cranberries pop, stirring frequently.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, stir in the pomegranate arils and cool completely.
  4. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.
