Easy Crockpot Hot Chocolate

A thick, creamy and totally decadently rich crock pot hot chocolate that can be made and kept warm for hours! Perfect for celebrations!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (I use semi sweet)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups milk whole is best, but skim works!
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small slow cooker, whisk together all ingredients.
  2. Cover, and heat on low for 2 hours, whisking regularly.
  3. Pour into mugs, top with marshmallows and/or whipped cream.
  4. Devour.

Notes

  • To make this crockpot hot chocolate faster:
  • Blend all the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook in the microwave, whisking often, in 1-minute increments until chocolate is melted, and drink is smooth. Serve immediately, or keep warm in a small slow cooker.
  • To make this recipe ahead
  • Make as written, and refrigerate. Whisk well before adding to the slow cooker.
