Easy French Toast Bake
This Easy French Toast Bake combines cubed French bread soaked in a custard made of eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The dish is topped with a crumbly mixture of flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and cold butter, which bakes to a crisp golden crust. The result is a moist, tender center with a crunchy top, ideal for a comforting breakfast or brunch that can be prepared ahead and baked when desired.
