Ingredients

  • 2 french toast sticks Farm Rich brand, boxed
  • 2 egg or 3 small, extra large
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp . salt
  • ½ cup butter cut into small pieces, very cold

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray an 8x8 or 9x9 square pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Layer one box of Farm Rich French Toast Sticks along the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a bowl, combine milk, eggs, vanilla and 1 tsp cinnamon. Pour half the mixture over the French toast sticks in pan.
  5. Layer another box of Farm Rich French Toast Sticks on top of the existing layer, then pour remaining egg and milk mixture over that layer. Set aside.
  6. In a large bowl combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt until well combined. Cut in butter with two knives (think of making a scissor motion with them) or a pastry blender. You are just trying to get the cold butter to combine with the dry ingredients. Don't worry if it doesn't get totally combined.
  7. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top of the French toast. If you have some dry ingredients that didn't fully combine with the butter, sprinkle that on first, followed by the bits combined with butter.
  8. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until the top layer starts to turn golden brown. Remove from oven and serve.
  9. Serve with syrup, powdered sugar, cream cheese frosting and/or fresh fruit.
