This easy frozen lemonade is the best for hot weather! With a refreshing lemon taste and splash of citrus vodka, you will be sipping on this boozy lemonade all summer long.

Ingredients
- 3 ounces fresh lemon juice
- 1½-2 ounces citrus vodka
- ½ cup simple syrup
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 cups ice
- 1 lemon wheel to garnish
SIMPLE SYRUP
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, vodka and lemon zest in a blender with the ice. Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with the lemon wheel.

SIMPLE SYRUP
- In a medium/large pot add the water and sugar, bring to a boil, and continue on a low boil stirring for 2-5 minutes until thickened. Remove the pot from the heat and let cool completely.

Notes
- If it's too thick, add a little cold water or more simple syrup and blend again. If it's too thin, add more ice and blend until you reach the desired consistency.
- Any leftover simple syrup will keep in a tight fitting jar in the refrigerator for up to one month.
- While you can freeze these, they will not freeze solid due to the sugar and alcohol. Store leftovers in the freezer covered and when ready to enjoy again, add to the blender and blend again to frozen slushy consistency.
