The Easy Grape Salad mixes chilled seedless grapes with a creamy blend of cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla. Topped with a sweet and crunchy combination of brown sugar and toasted walnuts, it offers a cool, smooth texture with bursts of juicy grapes and a contrast of nutty sweetness. It is ideal as a refreshing side or light dessert.

- 8 ounces cream cheese softened (see note 1)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 pounds grape chilled (about 10 cups, see note 2, red, seedless
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup walnuts or pecans, toasted and chopped (see note 3)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla and stir to combine.
- Carefully fold in the grapes and gently toss until evenly coated. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix brown sugar and walnuts.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top of the grapes. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or overnight. Serve cold.
Notes
- Soften cream cheese to room temperature before mixing to avoid lumps in the dressing.
- Choose chilled, sweet red seedless grapes; quarter them if serving young children for safety.
- Toast walnuts or pecans for enhanced flavor and texture before adding to the topping.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator up to 4 days; salad may become watery but remains safe to eat.
- Best consumed the day it is made, though it can be prepared ahead by softening cream cheese early.
