Easy Grape Salad Recipe
This classic creamy grape salad is a quick treat made with mix of juicy red and green grapes tossed in a simple blend of cream cheese, sour cream and sugar then topped with crunchy pecans and a sprinkle of brown sugar.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 pound red grape
- 2 pound green grapes
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar optional
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
- Add in the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract and blend until well combined.
- Then add in the grapes and chopped nut and gently stir to coat the grapes completely with the cream cheese mixture.
- Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill and set for at least one hour.
- Sprinkle the the top of the salad with brown sugar and additional pecans, if desired.
Notes
- Swap the pecans for a different kind of nut like walnuts or sliced almonds.Use full fat or ⅓ less fat cream cheese.Use light sour cream or plain Greek yogurt in place of full fat sour cream.
- Use vanilla yogurt and leave out the vanilla extract.Use all one color grapes if you'd like.
