Easy Guacamole Recipe (how to make from scratch!)

Everyone needs to know how to make Guacamole, try my super easy (and tasty) recipe and grab your tortilla chips!

Ingredients

  • 4 large avocados
  • 2 roma tomatoes diced
  • ½ cup onion diced
  • ½ Jalapeño seeds removed, diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce optional
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing and cutting your ingredients. Scoop the avocado out of the skin, discard the pits. Dice the tomatoes, onion and mince the jalapeno and garlic. Chop the cilantro and get your lime ready to juice.
Making guacamole
  1. Using a molcajete or a bowl and fork, mash the avocados until they are broken down into small pieces.
  2. Add the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, garlic and cilantro and squeeze the lime over the top.
  3. Add in the hot sauce (if using).
