Easy Ham Salad

Ready fast, packed full of flavor, and is a great way to use up any leftover ham to serve in a sandwich or as a snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ham finely chopped
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise 6 oz
  • 1 tablespoon sweet relish
  • 1/2 cup celery about 1 large stalk, diced
  • 1/2 cup white onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch kosher salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh parsley minced

Instructions

  1. Prep Ham: Finely chop or grind ham and add to a large bowl.
  2. Add other ingredients: Add the celery, onion, relish, mayonnaise, soy sauce, Dijon Mustard, pepper, and mix well. Taste a finish with a pinch of salt, if desired. Add fresh parsley and mix.
  3. Serve! Serve as an appetizer with crackers or on your favorite sandwich bread or buns.

  • Onion: Yellow or red also work well. 
  • Dijon:  A regular yellow mustard works great too, or a stone ground mustard.
