Easy Homemade Cashew Milk

Easy peasy, homemade cashew milk is the perfect alternative to a dairy free milk option. Use at a one to ratio in replacement to dairy milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked in boiling hot water for 30 minutes
  • 4 cups filtered water
Optional Sweeteners
  • 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1-2 pitted dates

Instructions

  1. Drain cashews and add them to your blender with the water and your sweetener of choice, if using, and puree until smooth.
  2. Using your Bigger & Better Nut Milk Bag, (or equivalent) strain the milk into a jug to remove any loose pieces and pulp so that you're left with smooth and creamy, perfect cashew milk.

Notes

  • Store in your refrigerator in a covered container or lidded jug. Consume within 5 days.
