Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground pork
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 2 tsp rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt adjust to preference
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, rubbed sage, crushed red pepper flakes, ground black pepper, and salt until evenly combined.
- In a large bowl, add the ground pork and sprinkle the seasonings on top. Mix together with your hands until the seasonings are well incorporated.
- Divide the ground pork mixture into ten equal portions using an ice cream scoop. Shape the patties about 3.5 inches in diameter and 1/4-1/2 inch in thickness.
- Set a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and fry for 3-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Serve warm and enjoy!
