Easy Homemade Strawberry Coulis Recipe

This strawberry coulis combines fresh strawberries with sugar and lemon juice, blended until smooth to create a bright, sweet sauce. Ingredients

  • 2 c strawberry rinsed and trimmed
  • 4 tablespoon sugar granulated white, raw or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place all berries in your food processor or a deep, narrow cup meant for your immersion blender. Add sugar and lemon then turn on processor or blender and blend until strawberries are well pureed.
  2. Taste and add extra lemon juice or sugar to taste if needed. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Add more sugar if strawberries are less ripe for balanced sweetness.
  • Increase lemon juice if berries are overly ripe to enhance brightness.
  • Optional: strain coulis to remove seeds for a smoother texture.
