Easy Homemade Tahini Paste (2 ingredients!)
Easy Homemade Tahini Paste: A Foolproof vegan recipe that takes 5 minutes and 2 ingredients to make! This creamy, rich and luxurious tahini paste is irreplaceable in hummus and is widely used for salad dressings and roasted vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 cup or 170 g sesame seeds or any other kind, unhulled
- 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
- kosher salt to taste
Instructions
- Toast the unhulled sesame in a large frying pan over medium heat until golden, stirring occasionally (about 3 minutes).
- Transfer to a high-speed food processor or blender and blend until smooth, gradually adding olive oil. The more powerful is your food processor, the less oil you'll need. Add salt to taste. Enjoy!

- Transfer tahini paste into a jar and store for up to 1 month in the fridge.
