Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon dill fresh
- 1/4 cup dill pickle chopped, approximately 1 pickle spear
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Mix: Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
- Chill: Cover bowl and place it in the fridge to chill.
- Serve with your favorite seafood dishes or store it in the fridge.
Notes
- Chill the tartar sauce before serving to allow flavors to meld properly.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, depending on mayonnaise freshness.
- Sour cream can be replaced with additional mayonnaise for a less tangy taste.
- If fresh dill is unavailable, use one teaspoon of dried dill as a substitute.
- Dijon mustard can be swapped for milder stone ground mustard if preferred.
