Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast in 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 garlic cloves minced
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
- Whisk together the cornstarch, salt, and garlic powder in a medium mixing bowl. Toss the chicken in the cornstarch mixture. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken until it has browned, about 4-6 minutes.
- Add the garlic to the pan and sauté for an additional minute, stirring the entire time.
- Pour the honey sauce into the pan and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the heat and serve.
