Ingredients
90-Second Mug Bread
- 2 tablespoon almond flour
- 2 tablespoon coconut flour
- 1 tablespoon allulose
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
French Toast:
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tablespoon butter for frying
- 2 tablespoon sugar-free maple syrup
Instructions
- Gather and prep all ingredients.
- In a mug or microwave-safe bowl, add in the dry ingredients of the mug bread. Stir to combine the almond flour, coconut flour, allulose, baking powder, and pinch of salt.
- Next, add in the wet ingredients of the mug bread. Stir the butter, eggs, and heavy cream in. Mix well and try to get a smooth mixture.
- Microwave on high for 90-120 seconds. You want the bread to be just set in the middle. If the bread is not done, microwave in 15 second intervals until done.
- Once bread is done, combine the ingredients to make the french toast batter. Mix to combine the eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon and salt.
- Slice the mug bread into pieces and dip into the batter. Make sure to get batter on both sides, liberally coating.
- Add butter to a pa over medium heat. Once butter is melted and bubbling, add french toast pieces and fry on each side until browned, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Serve while hot, drizzling sugar-free maple syrup over the top. Enjoy!
