Easy Lemon Garlic Baked Tilapia

Baked in a delicious garlic lemon butter, this tilapia is the easiest and tastiest way to get fish onto the dinner plate.

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia filets
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic  about 3 cloves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Lay 4 tilapia filets into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons butter, and 1 tablespoon minced garlic. Pour over tilapia. Season with salt and pepper. Tuck lemon slices in (optional).
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Serve hot with additional lemon wedges and garnish with 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley.
