Easy Matcha Horchata
Easy Matcha Horchata is a refreshing beverage combining rice and almond milk with matcha green tea, cinnamon, vanilla, and a touch of sugar and salt. Blended smooth and served over ice, it offers creamy texture, mild sweetness, and subtle earthy notes from matcha balanced by warm cinnamon and vanilla.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rice milk 500ml
- 2 cups almond milk 500ml
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- sea salt small pinch
- ice to serve
- ground cinnamon to serve
Instructions
- In a blender, whiz the rice milk, almond milk, sugar, matcha, cinnamon, vanilla and salt until smooth.
- Taste and add more sugar if necessary. Serve in glasses over ice with a sprinkling of cinnamon.
