Ingredients
- 250 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder unsweetened
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, add the honey, vanilla, cocoa powder and milk. Mix well.
- Put into the microwave.
- Cook for 90 seconds in 30 second intervals, stirring each time.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- We think the sweetness in this is perfect, but that comes down to preference. To make it sweeter, or even to reduce the sweetness, just adjust the amount of sweetener used.
- Don't let the milk boil, which is why you need to just heat it at 30 seconds at a time.
- To make this a really frothy hot chocolate, use a milk frother.
- Every microwave varies, so you might need to adjust the times.
