Ingredients

  • 29 oz sliced peaches *in heavy syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix *15.25 oz
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter *melted

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. Do not drain the peaches. Pour the entire can of peaches into the baking dish.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and stir it well into the peaches. Spread the peaches in an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the peach mixture. Press the cake mix down gently to ensure an even layer.
  5. Grate or cut the butter into thin slices and place them on top of the cake mix, covering the entire surface.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly on top.
  7. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
